About TPR

Keeping connected to its roots, TPR has always had a firm emphasis on maintaining global patent information industry connections. TPR staff are active participants within professional searching groups and at annual patent information conferences, exhibitions, and professional development seminars.

TPR Founder and President, Ford Khorsandian is a long-standing member of the Patent Information Users Group (PIUG), comprising top-level patent information professionals working within Fortune 500 corporations and patent law firms. Mr. Khorsandian has served as Vice Chairman and is the current Chair of the PIUG Nominations Committee. He is also an active member of several other information and intellectual property associations. He has been a frequent speaker over the years at the PIUG annual meetings and at various intellectual property conferences worldwide.

The founding of the International Patent Information Award, first presented in 2000. The IPI-Award was established to recognize those individuals who, through their hard work and leadership, have made a significant and lasting positive impact on the patent information profession.
